The Club holds regular weekly public sessions on Thursday, conventionally in evening at Alumni Hall of the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building, University of Dhaka. The session is organized on a very highly formatted style to achieve some specific goals. Most importantly, these sessions are designed to promote the interdisciplinary knowledge of the readers. The sessions usually cover quite wide ranges of topics, books and issues. The weekly sessions are the perfect place where mentors and junior scholars of different departments and fields are invited to speak on an issue for 40 minutes. The entire session lasts for 119 minutes (not a second more than 2 hours!). The key speaker will present his speech in 40 minutes (not even a single second more) and after that, the floor is open for audiences to add new things, points and dimensions on that particular issue or the issues a participant expert in.
